I finally forked up the little money it takes to do your own css for wordpress…I think it was a matter of whether or not i’d have the time once I decided to do it. No matter, I haven’t finished it all yet, so if you find yourself here and see ugliness just look the other way and come back in a couple weeks. Cool? Alright!
Last night at 6:39PM I received an email from Salesforce.com stating that they will be pushing changes in the Spring ’10 release that are not supported in IE6. And subsequent releases will likely have changes not supported by IE6, all part of their efforts to completely phase out support for IE6!! That for me at least is HUGE!!! We need more of these big guns to start dropping support to push large organizations and the internet community in general to move on and upgrade! Yay!
In terms of CSS3 and HTML5, this is fantastic. This is putting us one step closer to migrating the internet community to newer and more “modern” browsers who are building support for these features and will continue to provide more and more functionality.
Today is a good day in the interwebs.
